I started taking digital pictures in February of 2003. At first I had an Olympus C4000 (I think), I gave that one to my brother when I got a coolpix 3100, I gave that one to my girlfriend (at the time) when I got a coolpix 7600, I kept the 7600 despite the fact that I bought a Rebel XTi in late January 2007, and then in February 2009 the 7600 died so I bought a Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS for it’s video capabilities.

Sometime in late 2006 I decided to get a Pro Flickr membership and do a big push of all my photos. All told I had about 10,000 photos at that point, and after a little bit of filtering I whittled that down to about 6 or 7 grand. It took me about 7 months to get totally caught up, but it was totally worth it because my hard drive crashed the next day. Currently I’m just shy of 23,000 photos.

I love taking pictures and I hope that you love looking at them.
