You shouldn't have gotten that close, the adult bird will abandoned the baby birds if it detects a human scent on it or near it. That's why my dad never let us get to close to the nests in our backyard, we didn't want to scare the parent birds off for good.

mediafire.com are a bounch of crooks and liars, the Free account and mediafirePro accounts have the same downloading speeds

even if you pay for a pro account you get the shity free account download speed, what a sucker paid to get a free account. pretty stupid anyways

just advice for anybody else, you better of buying a cheap VPS with 500 GB bandwidth then hosting on mediafire.com

Yeah, some people are pretty intense about uploading pics. I'm always trying to decide whether i should upload only my "share publicly" good ones from each set, or if i should take the time to upload the entire roll of photos "for archiving" - what do you think?

Since you're in Antarctica, what's the bandwidth like? Can you freely upload pics? Is it easy to blog and stay connected, or are you out of touch? What kind of access do you have? Do you have your own computer or what?

I was pretty shocked too, especially because I thought that I had a big photostream and I only have 25,000.

12-1-09 Thank you for the photos from McMurdo.I was part of a group that supplied many of the buildings. That was many years ago. Back then it was more like a camp. Sure looks great now.I,m like you I would love the chance to be part of the folks living there now.BILL

Cocky,

Thank you for you comments, but actually I wasn't talking about Global Warming at all. I was talking about a bigger problem, Peak Oil. What are you thoughts on that?

No, the sad part is we do NOT need to rethink anything. The 'problem' is an invention. There is nothing unusual about today's temperature (which, by the way, is in decline) and we are not about to overheat and fry to death. CO2 levels are completely within normal range.
Or you can believe Fat Gore, and a few other IPCC bods (in Government pay), rather than listen to the thousands of scientists who do not accept the findings of the IPP-fucking-C!

Hello, Thanks for very interesting article. I really enjoyed reading all of your articles. It’s interesting to read ideas and observations from someone else’s point of view… makes you think more. Keep up the good work. Greetings,
