It has become ever more obvious to me over the past 2 years that I’m not much of a consistent blogger. Some people (myself include) might blame that on Twitter, but for whatever reason I have lost interest in this platform. I’m not excited about it anymore and I hardly EVER think about “blogging.”
But, I really enjoy publishing to the internet. I figure that I need to stop pretending that the reason I don’t blog is because “I’m too busy” and realize that I need to try a different approach. I need to spice things up and try something new, something fresh. I need to get excited again and stop trying to force something that’s just not working.
That’s where Tumblr comes in. I’ve heard about, read about it, and seen a few Tumblelogs first hand, but never really considered it. Well, things have changed and I’m gonna give it a chance. So, if you are reading this, you might want to add another link to your bookmarks or feed-reader:
I might still post here every once in a while, but for the time being I’m done with WordPress. If things go well with Tumblr, I might move “elisfanclub.com” over there. Who knows?

Hey Eli,
Why don’t you try lifestream plugin (http://www.ibegin.com/labs/wp-lifestream/) for wordpress? Not sure whether it is reliable/easy to use or not, but it can keep your readers without the need to change anything (I read you via rss reader).
Well, as it turns out, I think that this post was a bit premature. After only a few days of using Tumblr I realized that it actually wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. So, I’m back to WordPress.
That said, I love the idea of this plugin, but I’m using WordPress.com, so I can’t install plugins. Maybe WordPress.com will integrate something like this.
