before i answer your question, i have a few quick ones of my own. sound fair?

1. how did you find my blog?
2. did you watch the perfomance live on tv? if so, you probably saw me on the right hand side of the screen.
3. why are you so curious about the name of the band?

alright, now on to your question. the actual name of the band is Moose Knuckle, but they usually pronounce it with a thick german accent so it sounds like Moosh Nauckle. unfortunately for the Today Show, Moose Knuckle (and the female version, “Camel Toe“) is sort of a crude term.

so for the sake of the broadcast the name of the band was changed to M Knuckle, and that’s what she said on the air just before they performed.
