I play guitar in a band called CDC from just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. we tour the world a lot and we want to be the first punk/hardcore/metal band to play in Antarctica. I was hoping you could point me in the right direction as far as who I contact. I asked around last year on the internet and didn’t get very far, i was told i had to maybe make a presentation and take it to Washington DC for acceptance. well let me know if you can help.

that other funny/ridiculous thing? you said that i was used to having a protective barrier over my eyes, so after my eye surgery i needed to be more aware of floating particles in the air. then i went to the homestead and was getting shit caught in my eyes all the time.

@dad – turns out that i actually didn’t have strep throat, it was Influenza A. so i was given 2 more days off work and some Tamiflu to help end it sooner than later. it’s now friday afternoon and this is the first time that i’ve been allowed out of my room in about 2 days. i do feel a lot better now, and i’m hoping to go back to work tomorrow.

i had heard a few rumors about the Today Show coming down here. where did you hear about it?
