for a few months now i’ve been noticing this sign off 5 South near the exit for 90 East. just about everytime i drive to the airport i see that sign, and i point it out to whoever’s in the car with me. sometimes, if i’m by myself, i get in the right lane and slow way down so i can get a really good look at it. it’s probably coolest street sign i’ve ever seen.
last weekend brandon and i arranged to hangout, and we agreed that we’d both try to come up with something new, something that we’d never done before. this was my idea and brandon was downs.
first, we did a few internet searches to see if someone had already done leg work for us. we checked google, google images, and flickr, but nothing came up. it was time to act.
we left the hotbox and went south on 5 until we pinpointed exactly where it was and then turned off. we went back and forth a few times trying to figure out exactly where the best shooting location was. the whole process took about an hour (with a stop at Uwajimaya in between), but it was totally worth it.
have you ever seen a TILT sign like that?
after all the excitment of taking a picture of a street sign, we needed a cool down, so we stopped by Freeway Park. brandon had heard rumors of this park before but never been there. again, we just drove around for about 15 minutes until we found it. it was pretty cool.

antartica still doesn’t seem real to me yet.
i just experienced that intense friendship thing at the homestead in oregon. all the people were super cool and really nice and i couldn’t stop crying when i left. i’d say that the same exact thing will happen in antarctica but to a much greater extent.
loves!
before i left nintendo i got really high before work one morning and as i was driving missed the 51st st exit. guess what was all over the very next exit, tons of these tilty signs. also, whats up with hard to find pictures online? i tried to get a full picture shot of Vigo from Ghostbusters 2 the other day and all i could find was pics from the neck up. thats bullshit, the whole painting is awesome. “Death is but a door, time is but a window. I’ll be back.”
