very exciting news, y’all. today at work, while on my first break, i was contacted by the Antarctic Dining Attendant hiring manager and offered a job! as of right now, i am officially scheduled to be in Antarctica washing dishes this coming fall/winter (sept 25th – feb 25th). it’s all very exciting, but not quite real in my mind yet.
as of right now, morgen and meredith have also been offered (and accepted) dining attendant positions, and as far as i know peter will most likely be going as well.
there’s all kinds of details and stuff that could change between now and then, but you might as well start preparing for me to not be around this winter. i’ll miss you, too.
