so, macaques are some sort of monkey, right? And this means that because it might be cold, they are able to get into their little houses to warm up….but yeah, it’s confusing and doesn’t make much sense. I had to read it a few times to be able to make that little bit of sense of it.
I think it’s fairly clear, as I’ve said before, that we know the “why” of this whole scenario. Why? Well, because of the weather. Now, I was at the Zoo this day, and it was fine, warm weather. I don’t think the kind of weather matters as much as the fact that weather is present. In such cases, it seems obvious that the monkeys have access to their holding. It could not be more straightforward…to the macaques. Man, though the sign was written in his language, was never intended to value the message of this announcement. I viewed it then, and maintain to this day, that this sign is some kind of “inner-office memo” for the macaques. It’s jargon and, while probably needlessly obscure, does not effect us civilians. Might we, as guests at the zoo, like to know more of what goes on behind the scenes? Whatever holding the macaques have access to, might we want to see such access granted in laymen’s terms? Of course, and I’m disappointed that we can’t…but then I look outside and see that there is weather today, and know in my heart that my holding is fully accessible, and it’s calling my name.
It's fun when you actually see yourself improving in something. For me it's bicycling endurance: now I can charge up big hills in 1 push. :) 7 hours ago
Lucas watched the EXACT SAME episode of SpongeBob SquarePants four times today. Kids are so stupid. ;) 7 hours ago
Lucas said that I smell like "88 googolplex 99 one-thousand (repeated outloud for entire day) dog poops" - i.e. the stinkiest thing EVER. 13 hours ago
