i haven’t been as sick as i am right now in a LONG time. first off, this is the first i’ve been sick this entire winter, which means it’s been at least a year since i last got sick (sometime last winter). on top of all that, my past bouts with sickness usually just involved a stuffy nose and sore throat. this time it’s all that coupled with a headache at all times.

i’m not accustomed to being this sick. it’s weird and unfamiliar, and i’ve actually called in sick from work the last 2 days. i NEVER call in sick, but this time i felt no hesitation. to be honest, i would have rather gone to work than be sick, but there was just no other way. it’s possible that i will be calling in yet again tomorrow.

the really unfortunate part about my sickness is that it has made the last couples days here with peter sorta crappy. see, if i would have been fine and going to work, then i’d be home by 6pm and we’d be able to go out and party and do all sorts of stuff. instead, i’m home all day, but i don’t feel good enough to go out anywhere and i end up going to sleep really early. last night i went to bed at about 6:30 and woke up this morning at 8:30 (14 hours), but i still feel like crap.

i’m just hoping i feel good enough to enjoy the colts game this coming sunday. GO HORSE!!
