crazy dream

i had a dream last night in which i brutally killed a man with my own hands. it was incredibly surreal and creepy and you could probably consider it a nightmare.
imagine a world in which people had magical powers that were specific to certain elements, kinda like pokémon: water, fire, electric, ice, grass, rock, etc. the important thing to know about magical powers of this nature is that some types are at a massive (dis)advantage to other types: water will totally destroy fire but is no match for electric.
the setting of the dream was on the UW campus, but it wasn’t the UW campus as i know it. it was a much older campus, one that you’d imagine at a really prestigious university on the east coast: lots of old buildings with smooth, dark wood interiors.
anyhoo, i come out of one of the buildings and this guy comes after me like he wants to fight. i know that this guy has magical powers that are much greater than mine (for one reason or another) and that if i am to survive this fight i need to go ugly early. he steps up and i immediately grab him by the head and throw him to the ground. then i start smashing his head on the corner of some brick steps that lead out of the building.
i’m literally lifting his head up in the air and smashing it against the steps over and over again with all of my might. i hear the sharp thud of his head slamming against the brick, i hear him screaming in agony, i hear his scull splitting and cracking, i hear the softer sound of a cracked skull slamming against the brick, and then his screaming stops. he is dead.
i look around to see if anyone was there to witness the murder. luckily the courtyard was empty and i take off around the corner.
woah. I had a dream last night that I had found the best food to put on a mouse trap to guarantee a dead mouse. But it was kind of like that dream that Homer has where he invents the thing that everyone in the world has two or three of. I never got a good look at it. The mice will continue to run rampant all over our house. Fuckers.
