latency
by Eli
the past 2 weeks have been crazy. as evident by my last post, i moved. there was also the last bit of the visitors of the summer: stushi and yuki (2 folks from japan) were here for about a week and at the end of that dustin came into town as well. then, like the day after dustin left, i started my new job: game tester for Nintendo! it’s pretty cool, but i think i’m going to wait a few weeks before i divulge on that note.
on top of all of that, we haven’t had internet at the new house and my hiatus has been quite a bit more successful than i thought it would. at this point i probably only use my computer about 2 times a week, and when i do it’s for about 10 minutes at a time to check email or whatever. i REALLY HAVE separated myself. it’s almost to the point that i don’t even want to work on ListYourList (or any other websites that i have) anymore.
one thing that i know has changed is how much i read. it’s been almost exclusively Derrick Jensen, but i’ve been reading a whole lot more nonetheless. i’ve even been getting some more knitting in as well.
so, i’m not sure where this is going. i’d say that when (if?) we get internet at our new place i might get back into it a bit more, but well see. i wouldn’t get your hopes up, i like things this way a lot.
Come back soon, listyourlist needs to grow!
